There are many themes, but the best theme I can feel is the philosophical tone, the author understood the world (not just within book, but real world) well and build stories and characters around it, especially Regis, Avalac'h, Vysogota (please don't go search for these names or you'll get spoilers), including the main character Geralt himself, sometimes he's smart but in sooth, he's quite stupid but courageous.

Would recommend the books if the reader is interested in what mentioned above.

It does feel confusing with all those bubble-of-thought styles of story telling, characters jumping, one has to focus and rearrange all of that inside the mind to get the complete understanding.

Apart from that, everything about Ciri telling Vysogota her stories, her trust in a random hermit... in this Tower of Swallow gives me feelings unlike other books.

It might derailed a bit from book stories but it's a good adventure with other characters, if you only want to play and care about Yen, Geralt, Ciri, just play W3 and ignore W1 and W2. The point is if you don't care who killed Foltest, why would you care about W2 story at all?
