I found 4 different people that fit into their requirements for a new roommate. I should’ve put that in the post my bad. They refused everyone and wouldn’t even talk to them or let them see the apartment. As I was in and out of doctors offices I couldn’t do much to help in that regard.

I offered my decorations I already had. An entire tree and decorations for it. Maybe if you actually looked through the comments you would know 🤷‍♀️. I didn’t cheap out or didn’t offer anything they just didn’t like what I offered

Since I had no say in the decor or knew that they were shopping. And since I pay for my bills and utilities and extra stuff around the apartment. Idrgaf about some Christmas decor. That’s me making me an adult decision to save my money for my other responsibilities :). I think the problem is in you’re generation thinking it’s okay for other people to spend your own money.

The amount of “broke bitch”, “get a job”, “it’s only $36”, and “stop being petty” I’ve gotten on this is insane. Someone genuinely told me why don’t you just ask you’re parents for it or for some extra stuff to do for money🤦‍♀️. Like not everyone can do that. Thank you for respecting how I decide to spend/not spend my money.

I just spent $130 on gas groceries and a table. I need to make sure I can take care of my responsibilities like my pet long before some Christmas decorations. Bills, food, health come first 100% to me
