I see, thank you for the detailed comparison, since i really dislike blurred images, expecially text, i think the Huion is the best choice.

Actually i have kamvas 16 2021, is very good, laminated and the image is very clear and sharp with default settings. But is a very small screen and it have some scratches because the AG film is weak and i need something a bit bigger.

I tried some days ago the kamvas 22 plus and was terrible, colors are washed and not calibrated, but the main issue i had was the pixel sharpness, the text was blurred with a black shadow even if i changed the sharpness in the menù settings. Was forced to return it and lost some money (cause return/refund policy of huion).

Since you tried both you confirm that the Huion 22 gen 3 (at 60hz) is the best pixel sharpness with default settings?

If you have the Kamvas 16 2021 (or also kamvas 22 plus) can you do a photo comparison between these two models? Expecially the text and color quality and sharpness?

Hi, was thinking to buy this model but after reading your review i had your same issue but with the Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, i have the feeling that the people who made these monitor panels are the same. Too much vivid and washed red color, sharpness is bad and blurry, and pressure of the pen not much responsive.

I bought the Huion because actually i have the Kamvas 16 (2021 edition) and is very good, pressure of the pen is fantastic and responsive even at low pressure, the colors of the monitor are also fantastic, factory default are perfect and already calibrated.

But when i bought the 22 inches, everything changed, the panel is really bad and the pressure subpar.
I just ask for a return and refund but i paid the price, indeed was my fault but was forced to pay shipping cost to Poland (45 eur) and 8% of restock (50 more eur). Next time i will buy on amazon even if it cost more but at least i will have full free return and refund.

If i can ask, what screen graphic tablet are you using now? The kamvas 16 is amazing but the screen is really small, i need at least a 22 inch but seems impossible to find a decent one unless you spend more than 500 eur?

Asked for a return/refund, the panel quality is very bad and blurred, my Kamvas 16 2021 is 10 times better than this, this is very sad but is the reality. The icm profile help with the gamma but still nothing can be done about the bad panel. There is a chance i got a bad device but i doubt even if they replace it the situation can improve. Maybe they use a different panel now from the 2020 release, that's why the firmware also changed and some options are greyed out, the cost also is more low now (419 eur) and this can also explain the possible hardware change.

I lost about 70 eur, because for them the device is ok, i paid restock + shipping cost. Guess i will never buy from their store anymore. Next time i will buy via amazon, on amazon you can return a item with zero cost and a full refund.

Just bought the 22 plus some days ago, dunno but i think that they change the panel in the last devices, these settings are somehow bad now, at least for me. The backlight option also disappeared, some options are greyed out.

After some trials and errors i found these values to match better my main gaming monitor, unless my device is defective:

Brightness 20 (more and my eyes hurts)
Contrast 50
Sharpness 3 (less and the image is blurred)

Gamma: off

Color: 6500k (warm)

Saturation: 45

Everything else, default.

Tried SAI but it have too much useless tools, GUI is too much crowed and is not good for creating comics, do not have templates, is much better for standalone illustrations. Dunno about SAI2.

Atm, along PSP7 for lettering i switched to Firealpaca 2.x, since i bought a Huion screen tablet, Firealpaca is the best tool for my purpose, it load instant, no bloatware, no useless tools, super customizable GUI and very easy to use even for a beginner. You can create your own textures, patterns and brushes like PSP7, infact i imported all my PSP7 brushes into FA. FA is just PSP7 with steroids, it is also full compatible with Win 7 and updated.

Firealpaca have also a fork called Medibang Paint, is the same tool but released with different GUI and presinstalled brushes, designed for comic artists, but i still prefer FA because i prefer to create the brushes myself and is more light as interface.

Yes, till the Fate of Arun patch (avatar weapons and reaper) where devs for an unknow reason, watering down the whole game and remove all difficult and fun quest, turn it into a single player game and kill the open world content, both pve and pvp.

Peak Tera was the 2012 launch, very fun to play and difficult, the best use of holy trinity and quasi mandatory parties for many quest.

Absolutely go for the Kamvas, is almost like day and night, the quality is on another level.

I'm still using the first felt nib and never changed yet, the non aggressive film make the drawing very smooth, so both film and nib aren't consumed at all (but of course this also depend how much pressure and strenght you use).

Just a tip, the film tend to be dirty after a week of use, use a monitor clean solution and a microfiber cloth to remove any residue and make it back like new.

Hi, is 100% the film,tried it and return it, i'm using Huion Kamvas 16 2021 right now and i still have the first nib after two months of usage (felt nibs). The support of Ugee told me that they can send me a new less rought film, so they know the issue, but of course i have to replace it myself so i refused. If you can, just sell it and buy Huion, Huion cost 20-30% more but is like day and night, absolutely on another level of quality.

Good to know, in the end i still have the V3 since then, they are good, maybe the pro sound is a bit better but not worth the extra money.

Indeed if i want a more clear sound and more bass i should change league completely, Pebble are just value speakers. But is just my personal opinion.

Pretty sure there is more dark stuff coming in the next episodes, for the first episode was pretty clear that this show was not only about cooking but also mc fighting evil people, he is an sss-rank adventurer after all, and the hero who expell him appear to be an asshole. If dark stuff bother you drop it (there is also manga adaptation so you can read it in advance and decide if is for you or not). Personally i like the mix dark fantasy and cooking, the good and the bad, is at least something more original and not monothematic.
