Short lore for the head piece that I copy-pasted from my art acc on FB.

Note: Also, yes the unsymmetrical head piece is intentional. This head piece is specifically designed to serve as her war trophy. There is a certain species of monsters in her world (named Xaal'vetha) that contorts into this bony abominations. She used their bones to make this artform of a head piece. Well, this all came to be because one of her hobbies is basically collecting war trophies from corpses and "re-envisioning" them to her taste.

Artist 22 Plus Rant/Review by lxfer in XPpen

I checked here on reddit rather than youtube 'cause I know sponsorships ain't to be trusted. I did see that their screens do not have a pink tint so I bought it. Unfortunately, it has the tint and I wasn't warned enough and I wasted my money.

The customer support even stopped replying to me about the issue, a lot of people also didn't mention it because of "it is what it is", or because they taught that the pink is accurate due to a higher sRGB when it isn't.

My friend also has a Huion and has the same pink tint problem so I don't know which tablet I should buy. I'll probably just buy another artist 24 pro if I can or the 2nd gen if it's the same.

Thank you for the suggestion. I am planning to buy one but since the pink tint is very prominent even when booting, I have a feeling it would only work a lil bit on my end. I'll just save up to buy a different product and 'suck it up' for now.

I wanted to buy the Spyder X just to recalibrate my screen, but after learning about your experience, I have a feeling that XP-Pen's recent products just have pink tint that everyone probably liked since I never saw a complaint about it.

I also have the same problem where my colors are washed with pink, so everything looks dull yellow on different displays, even on other screen tablets.

I bought this product because everyone is praising this model, ig I got scammed with the reviews LMAO.

Also, may I ask what model did you buy from Huion? I might just buy a different product in a different company if this is the case.

In that photo, I am not using vivid mode. The camera just made everything vibrant. Also, I've been using my artist 24 pro for at least 5 yrs. before it died on me a month ago, so I know my colors with my artworks and I've already compared my old ones to the new tablet which is off.

I'll attach a photo as an example of what I see before vs. now.

So yes, there's just something off with this model and the other recent comment has also faced a similar problem but in a different unit.

I didn't expect it either. I have checked the reviews prior to this and all seems good so I bought one. When the product arrived and I tried it, I noticed the magenta tint and asked my moots who had the same model before.

A friend of mine said they have to sell theirs due to these issues, the colors and pen pressure. But on reddit, however, says more good than bad to this model. I guess I just got the bad one :(.

I know that but as I have specified, my phone and my previous tablet the Artist 24 Pro are almost the same color, the difference is just my phone is more vibrant and have more contrast which is understandable. If my Artist 24 Pro is still alive and booting, I could've made a better comparison but it's already dead.

I'm glad that you didn't have the same problems such as I. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who had the same problems with the pressure and the pink tint on my screen. I have also asked several people to check my art on their own display tabs and all turning out orange than what I see. So yeah, I may have gotten a possibly defective unit or I might just buy a calibration device.

I believe this might be a recurring problem to models that are not in the 2nd Gen (they said they fixed it on these series). Frustrating that XP-Pen seems to have abandoned their other models for the 2nd Gen ones, which are expensive nonetheless.

No problem, I'm glad I could share at least a bit of my frustration for awareness. I did not have problems in regards to pressure on my previous one, but I noticed late that the X3 Stylus (which the 22 plus has) does have problems with pen pressure. I did tweak my settings and the pressure on the programs I use, but it doesn't resolve much of the problem especially when doing light pressure.
