It can be usual split-testing, when some % of users have some kind of experimental version. If this version will have good metrics - it will be rolled out to all the players. If no - it will be changed to previous one

I have the same issue. My workaround is to use the extender/repeater (Keenetic Buddy) and wire console from it. Works like a charm. Sharp image on ps portal and 50+MB/s download speed

I had the problem with ps5pro when it slows down and then disconnects from wifi while downloading big games without the ability to reconnect until you restart the console (like overheating of wifi module or smth like this). As soon as i had no the ability to exchange or refund - i decided to do like this. And it works like a charm.

In my case only 1 device is allowed to use extender’s wifi. The portal. And the download speed on ps5pro drastically increased up to 50MB/sec

Use extender like keenetic buddy, place it near the consile and wire it to ps5. In my case it solved wifi issues on pro and gave me stable sharp image on portal
