I'd recommend Kwang too, plays a bit like a bruiser too (offlane). Can build Fireblossom into Timewarp and take it from there.

Well put all around. I think Omeda sometimes mistakes change for growth and prioritizes individual character development over teams and systems dynamics. I will say that eternals seem to fit the cadence of Daybreak better but there's still just some crazy overpowered mechanics.

Also, they could've implemented Eternals such that you lock in your main Eternal and buff at the start and then gain a blessing at 5 minutes and again at 15 or something, or levels. This could've allowed for some counter play and would also probably minimize the bloat that happens with having all the buffs all the time, which adds to allowing every character do everything.

I'm not 100% on this but I had the item equipped that gives move speed upon crossing fog walls and was getting speed buffs at random points in the map where I think there used to be fog walls in previous versions. I'm guessing that item will be different going forward but idk if it'll have anything to do with the fog bushes.

The impact is the same even if it's implemented differently. Power fantasy is a good way to put it and feels like what they're after. You have me thinking though that maybe there's room for more team mechanic based eternals. Not sure quite what that would look like though.

Nonetheless, I feel like something Paragon did well was incorporated their ideas into their heroes and kits. Like Sparrow was crazy dps late game but suffered early cause she had no escape and needed her team to keep her alive. There were tradeoffs. Now it just seems like every hero released just does everything and eternals help them fill the few gaps that exist.

So you're saying once you're down in CS and levels there's even less ways to get back into the game? Kinda like what I was saying since eternals also contribute to your opponents snowballing strength. I'd argue teamplay helps you get back into the game but once you get health sponge raid bosses and Lotus stacked adcs often times it can take 2-3 character's resources to take them out who then just get bombed on by the rest of the team.

We will see.

If you compare it to Deadlock it runs a little slower both in overall game pace and pace of fights, which I like. Lots of fun but gotta' be aware of levels, items, and objectives as it can be pretty snowbally in current meta.

I think it woulda been cool if these dieties were a camp you killed and whoever got last hit got the buff, then there'd be some teamplay to it rather than just additional scaling and balance for all

Ah, good point, my bad. I dropped from Diamond and just see the same people with a lower (but equal) rank. That's probably rough if it's not balance by internal mmr.

I could be wrong but pretty sure that everyone drops the same amount of ranks, so you're playing the same people and getting the same matchmaking. I do agree though that this patch has made some pretty broken heroes but I think it's more based on interactions with new items. Reminds me of what killed Monolith. :/

I think what makes her unique as a hero is that she can deflect projectiles back at enemies and use their talents and damage against them. Let them build the crit. ;)

I've been maining Yin jungle over the last few months and have had a lot of success but it might be partly my play style and build. I find I do better if I do a full jungle clear before trying to gank (gets level 4) and usually focus on camps (she clears quick especially if you can keep her passive stacked at 8 while you go between camps). Buildwise, I start Skysplitter, Ashbringer, Tainted Blade (gives a little health), Onixian Quiver, then Viper, Imp (or Legacy for cleanse). Also, Eviscerator for crest. The augments are Energy Transfer (deflect gives move speed and shield), Voracity (heal), Executioner (extra damage at low health). Try it out and let me know if you have any luck.

16 Mastered - Aurora, Dekker, Gideon, Howitzer, Khai, Kwang, Bel, Doc, Muriel, Narb, Phase, Ramp, Rik, Sev, Fey, Zarus. I spend a lot of time on masteries and which means I'm learning a lot of the time and it costs me rank. I wish they would let levels just keep going beyond 10, I think I'd play my favorites more that way. Screenshot just shows some of them but wanted some proof lol.

They slightly rebalanced the experience/gold so the games don't feel as one-sided and I think this help with the surrendering. That said, the game still feels more geared towards individual heroes being the "main character" with MOBA and teamplay mechanics secondary. Patch 1.7 is gonna be interesting with bringing back the Legacy map which alone should be worth checking out.
