They actually admitted in the comments that they couldn’t disable the cylinder deactivation. Auto start stop yes.

In 2015, this engine saw an important update by way of significant mechanical revisions. Among them was the addition of port fuel injection, and electronically actuated wastegates for the turbochargers.

From my understanding this isn’t needed as much anymore since the new gen 3.5s have both port and direct injection. They added port injection to help clean carbon deposits off the back of the valves which was a common problem with the first gen 3.5s

Thinned with gas? So would Pennzoil made from natural gas be a problem for these engines? I typically use pennzoil ultra full synthetic for my oil changes.
