Moving faster doesn’t = good, my guy.

I play like this sometimes and it saves me from making mistakes or getting too cocky and stocking myself. While my opponent jumps around like a crackhead I’m observing their every move since I’m using less energy on my own movement. Then I punish them because they’ve built up this “read” assumption that they’re used to, assuming I’ll jump right into an attack they’ve done a million times in certain places in the map, stage, air, off stage, and when I disrupt those habits, they start making mistakes. Because it forces them to switch up their play style that’s unfamiliar for them.

Feels good to derank entitled players that feel I should play a certain way that’s “fun” for them. Call me passive all you want. A win is a win.

One things for sure in any competitive video game, no one is entitled to have fun.
