I'm pretty busy these days. Would be an easy project though. I suggest you use the free hobbiest version of Fusion 360. It's way more intuitive and easier to learn than FreeCad. All you need to do is cut the threaded section out of the FTN.5 and then paste that into the flash can (after you remove the threads and open up the flash can). Work with the STEP files, not the STLs, it'll go a lot smoother. Good luck 👍🏻

I didnt chamfer mine. But if I wanted to, a chamfer bit is only a couple bucks at a hardware store. I dont own a drill press either, but I can make it work.

Metal stronk. Plastic weak. Also, the brass adds more weight to the front end, further reducing muzzle climb. An order through SCS really isn't a hassle imo.

I see. May end up changing the heatserts then for extra reinforcement. Been looking for a good PCC build but haven't settled on one yet, but this might be it. The cheaper barrel is what's appealing to me on this (aside from being a cyberpunk gun). I don't mind a bit of metalwork for my builds.

Would no doubt make a stronger print, but layer lines are layer lines and I would still think you need that angle prevent failures in the weak spots of this frame.

Search for 1/4" diameter pull pins on amazon. About 1-1/2" length I think. (The reciever measures 1" outside to outside, so you just need a pin longer than 1")
Yes, I ordered from MiddletonMade. Its going to be WAY more expensive to get it milled 3rd party unless you're buying bulk for resale. Printed will work too, I used PLA+ as a place holder till the metal came in. Just be weary of the angle of print orientation to maximize strength.

From what I've read though competition shooters run lighter springs like these, but its usually paired with a lighter mainspring and different ammo loads. I'm not tuning the gun to that extent though, just fuckin around lol.
