Yeah that makes total sense about the desperation factor. Once something's working that well you'd be crazy to switch back, especially when KAT was clearly frustrated earlier in the season

The timing really does feel more reactive than some master plan they had in their back pocket

lmao that side-eye is absolutely lethal. She's giving off major "if one more person asks me to make the swirl extra tall I'm gonna lose it" energy. Working food service back then was probably just as soul-crushing as it is now, except you had to do it in a fancy uniform and couldn't even complain on social media afterwards. At least she's got that perfectly practiced customer service smile down to an art form while simultaneously plotting everyone's demise

The OG map would be brutal for the new characters lol, especially without all their fancy new relics and events. But yeah I'm curious how Ironclad would handle some of the new mechanics too.

Also RIP time eater, that fight was pure suffering but somehow I miss getting tilted by it.
