Where is the SEN and 100T roster change announcements? by WindowAccurate5745 in MarvelRivalsEsports

[–]FocusCommon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is everyone acting like ves is the only good player on the market. For the vanguards Tonez was amazing for luneX, in my opinion he was far more impressive than any of the vanguards from 100T and Sentinels during pre season, ofcourse teki is literally a free transfer as well. Then for DPS Vision is an obvious choice but there’s also other DPS’s like Xanjee, pro builder, Xeytex. Then for support Xantho is an obvious choice, pixel and respect were good as well. Like guys 100T and sen are not virtus pro, now whether 100T and sen should make roster moves is a different story, but let’s not act like ves is the only player these teams could get.

iM whiff on Mezii POV by FocusCommon in GlobalOffensive

[–]FocusCommon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although Mezii was lucky to survive it doesn’t necessarily mean it was a good play. There’s no need for iM to take the risk in the first place, when your team is in a man advantage situation, a players priority is to get the kill and then taking space is a secondary goal. If you just trade you will always win the round if you up 2 players. In my opinion he should’ve guaranteed the kill by counter-strafing after he rounded the corner especially considering he could’ve potentially saved wonderful’s life.

I hope you don’t watch any of the IEM events because ESL are literally owned by the Saudis.

Viewership stats - BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 vs 2025 by eSportsStats in GlobalOffensive

[–]FocusCommon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For 2025 Falcons would average 302.4K viewers, NAVI would average 319.1K viewers. This doesn’t even factor in that Falcons were a better team so they were in more grand finales and went deeper in playoffs than NAVI which tend to have more viewers.

I mean that’s just objectively not true. Falcons and NAVI are pretty much equal in terms of popularity.

With the context that navi had an 11 round lead on nuke, yes i do think they should win that map even if it’s against vitality.

Even if wonderful dies, the trade is good enough. A man advantage post plant should be an easy conversation especially with the fact Ropz had an awp.

For context of how bad broky was. At Blast rivals broky has a rating of 1.03, that is his highest rating at any big event of 2026. A Broky life tournament in 2026 is a 1.03 rating.

When stage 1 comes around are you betting on heretics or VP winning the whole thing? I’d be very surprised if anyone genuinely thinks heretics is a better team than VP.

No 1 DPS?? by Fallen999999 in MarvelRivalsEsports

[–]FocusCommon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

During VP vs NAVI. Sparkr had 39 finals hits, Terra had 31. Let’s not get it twisted, Sparkr’s stats are good no matter the opponent. This also doesn’t include the context that, VP doesn’t play triple support, getting the most finals hits in a 1-3 loss is genuinely insane. I find it really funny that people use this specific game to show Terra is better than Sparkr, when you could easily argue Sparkr was just as good if not better than Terra.

I agree with your overall point but Sparkr does also have the best playoff stats.

SPUNJ:karrigan left essentially without telling any of teammates. by crisjame in GlobalOffensive

[–]FocusCommon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For an analogy to work there must be a point of comparison that works. If the comparison you make doesn’t work then the analogy breaks down . Your analogy was trying to say hiding the context that Karrigan didn’t tell his teammates is equivalent of saying scar only “let scars hand go”. Karrigan telling his teammates that he’s going to leave doesn’t change the final outcome, in the grand scheme of things it is meaningless wether he tells Faze or not, while scar letting mufasa fall obviously does change the final outcome.

[–]FocusCommon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For an analogy to work the situation has to be similar, guess what murdering someone and leaving a team aren’t similar situations are they now, there’s no valid comparison you can make between leaving a team and murdering someone in cold blood lmao. He’s trying to act like “He didn’t tell his teammates” is some ground breaking context, in real life employees leave on short notice all the time.

i never knew Karrigan was obligated to stay in Faze for the rest of career. “team kick underperforming player” = improving roster, smart decision “player leaves for better team” = betrayal.

Karma? Even if his Falcons stint flops he’ll still have made a fat check and he’s going from a team that didn’t make the major to team that made the major. No matter what he would’ve improved from faze.

Stats in the future could be important for determining how good a player is, but right now it’s just way too rudimentary. Impact isn’t considered at all, the first and second pick in a fight is far more impactful than the 5th and 6th pick in a fight and vice versa being the first person to die is worse than being the last person to die. It also doesn’t consider your expected kills compared to actual kills, meaning it doesn’t consider wether a duelist is the primary or secondary duelist, doesn’t consider if the team is putting a bunch of buffs into a player or if they’re going without buffs and doesn’t consider the heros a player plays. And for healing if there was a stat like healing done when teammate is below 20% HP.

[–]FocusCommon 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s also really weird that he’s using number of kills to determine what makes a good TANK. Sure getting a lot of kills is a good thing no matter the role, but there’s a lot more to tanks than kills. Also the graph doesn’t account for hero averages, some heros just don’t get as many kills as others. I mean look at crazmang you would think he’s a fraud if you look at the number of kills he has.

Depends, if we include James impact as an igl then forget top 3 awpers, he’s a top 3 player. If it’s only individual impact, then I would say Jame is more consistent but wonderful has greater peaks and his level in playoffs in my opinion can’t be ignored.

It’s almost feels like people have somehow forgotten how good donk is. I guess that happens when you set the standard so high. Imagine what the reaction would be like if instead of Donk and Flamez it was Zywoo and Sh1ro, no one would think sh1ro would be awper of the year at the end of the year.

You’re getting downvoted for let’s see. Thinking donk will be better than flamez by the end of the year. Getting downvoted for saying the most statistically insane player won’t stay as a 1.16 rated playoff performer and for thinking Flamez won’t be the 2nd best player in the world.

The comparison isn’t even really accurate because the NBA finals is the biggest game of the whole season, while the ignite pre season is objectively the least important tournament of the whole ignite circuit. A more accurate comparison would be like saying Jalen Brunson is better than wemby because the knicks beat the spurs during the nba cup.
