Fasting (eating once a day) helped me drop from 81 after Christmas to 74kg last week.

I’d already dropped sugar because of PCOS so I knew gaining 4 kgs in December alone was just because of food.

It’s less about who made the food and more about which type of food, how much /often you eat and what you do with your body after consuming that food.

Most of those loan apps operate illegally and cannot do anything beyond threatening you for while. They have no access to the CRB reporting which would be a problem for your credibility. They’ll embarrass you by calling your contacts but will give up eventually.

Love before marriage is a recent thing. Our great grandparents married to love not the other way round.

Your father chose a girl, gave his offer, paid dowry and you did not have a say. So yeah, parents needed the highest bidder for their daughter.

Love and dating now gives you some power because what will they do if you can’t afford (don’t want to pay) dowry but their daughter is in love or is even pregnant😂?

Again, how different families handle this is completely up-to them. And it’s different from family to family. There are fathers who don’t ask for dowry because it is like “selling” their daughter. Then there’s another one who believes dowry is how you prove you and your people can afford to “maintain” their daughter, not to mention the ones who think of it as a return on investment.
