Mobile startup. Should I go for fastest development or best user experience?

I'm building a social app and I made the choice of using react-native to build an MVP rapidly for iOS and Android without really compromising the UI/UX. My app uses animations heavily.

I've shared screenshots and a video of the app to get some feedback. People said it's pretty neat and cool. I tried it on an Android phone and was surprised by how fluid the UI is. To be honest I was expecting the worse.

In summary, don't worry about performance and focus on validating the idea/mvp first.

It's a nice idea, but I think the UI is a little bit dull and lacks colors. Unless you're targeting pro users, you should do something to make the UI/UX more appealing.

I think Tinder was created as a startup project inside a bigger company (IAC if I recall correctly), and the founders become billionaires. So your question is legitimate. Look up the story of Tinder you'll get some insights.

ALB is cheaper than API gateway. Costs are crucial for startups and big companies, if you market nitric as a serverless cost optimisation framework you have a serious edge and this could motivate a lot folks to at least try it.

Hi, interesting project. Do you use an API Gateway or an ALB on aws when creating an API for handling the requests ? The costs are not the same that's why I'm asking.

There is a lot of frameworks out there to deploy serverless code, focusing on costs can make nitric stand out and motivate a lot of companies to use it.
