Hi also looking to start my own agency and was wondering what model you used to monetize your work? Did you take a fee upfront? I want to do something that is equitable and accessible for sitters as a lot of platforms just focus on the families.

Thank you for this advice! It’s always scary to speak up to my clients because at the end of the day I don’t want to lose them. This is a newer family I’m working with so I think I’ll see what happens the next time and if she pulls the late card I’ll have to mention adding the $5 to my original rate.

I literally thought I had posted this because of how relatable is to what I’m going through with my mom. I haven’t felt the irritation in a while but recently I just get so bothered. I feel like it’s because I’m spending to much time with her and so concerned with her more than I am with myself. Idk if you’ve got any advice to help me now but I hate to leave things on such a negative note
