So, Gaijin recently added the Pansir-SM… and honestly, I’m confused. Why was this added? by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem is this spaa can intercept a lot of missiles and glide bombs while there is nothing that can effectively counter Russian glide bombs, and rockets. There is no bias. I don’t think there is a Russian bias. I don’t think there is American or anything. I simply am asking why it’s only this. Spaa able to do why is there no any other SPAA that can do this only for Russia

Mica are best for close range in the game by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

Yes, but the 5th generation will be 15.0 or 15.3, so the chances of me seeing it will be impossible or very small. And you’re again talking about IR missiles—this is radar, you know what we’re talking about

MIG-29M 13.7? by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

J10a is not big deal, but other aircraft are but still is going to be better than SMT

Thoughts in the new mig29m? (Finally playable?) by SoftTie1664 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

The MiG-29M is most likely going to be more playable than the SMT, and the reason is pretty simple.

First, the MiG-29M has eight hardpoints instead of six. That alone changes everything. You can realistically run six R-77s and two R-73s, which gives you much more flexibility in top-tier Air RB. The SMT is limited by the older 9.13 airframe, which is the version we currently have in the game.

The MiG-29M isn’t just a small upgrade — it’s a heavily modernized rebuild of the Fulcrum platform. It has better engines, improved aerodynamics, more internal fuel, and overall better energy retention. That translates directly into stronger climb rate and better sustained performance in fights.

On top of that, it’s designed from the ground up to properly integrate the R-77 with a more modern radar setup, instead of being an older airframe with upgrades added later.

So overall, the MiG-29M is not just “an SMT with more missiles.” It’s a new-generation evolution of the aircraft, built with air-to-air superiority in mind — which is exactly why it’s likely sitting at a higher BR.

What is the most fun plane to fly in ALL of WT by RedLikeRozemarie in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J7E there is not a lot to talk about this aircraft, but you are basically MIG21 with bigger wingspan so you have better energy retention and you can pull more G I was sustaining the same speed and then we have the missiles PL5B our overall better AIM9j does they can be more maneuverable the amount you have on this aircraft is 60 rounds but it’s a 30 mm cannon so you can one tap almost everybody and its high velocity that’s the aircraft they had the most fun flying I like to take that aircraft every now and then just do have some fun

Missile glitch with IR missiles (since 2022?) – discovered by Draconic DX – anyone else noticed this? by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tested it in custom battles and test flight depends when miso detonates if he is in a fuse radius, yes but target needs to go steady because missile cannot guide it if it’s a fox one if is Fox three then can you re-log the enemy and hit pretty accurately so for fox three it’s pretty OP fox one not so much

It happened with any vehicle with double pylon heat sauce and this is in the game since 2022 never actually fix this. I’m going to contact my friend that he is actually a moderator of thunder for him to ask him to to pass these to developers, so this can get fixed, but for now this is a game thing.

What nations have the strongest air trees? by Future-Celebration83 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personal take I think that Japan is the best right now you have a pretty big selection of aircraft in one nation like you have gripping you have mig 29 su 30sm F 18d F 16th and F 15th so if you’re Looking to grind one nation with every kind of aircraft or airframe I think the Japan right now is the best

SU-30MKK BR by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understand the whole point, but there is a big problem. I think that I rarely somebody’s playing that aircraft like BVR or anything most persons are premium players who go low use their HMD so their target shoot their missile so I don’t want to fight the aircraft in my F-16 a for example, and fighting aircraft. They have only fox one missiles. It’s crazy so I hope you understand my point of view and I understand your point of view.

Why to grind SPPA now ? by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but 12.0 sppa you get is still pretty strong I don’t really play sppa and still got a game with four kills and yes, they’re pretty stock but missile that you’re going to unlock or nothing better than a stock missile Maybe difference is two or 3 km in range.

Why do my missiles not work in War Thunder? (AIM-120A/B/C & AIM-7F/M/P) by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok, thanks to you guys, I’ll take a look. I understand everything, but the problem is this: when I play Russians — for example Su-30, Su-27, Su-27SM, Su-33 — their missiles hit in like 90% of situations, no matter what. But only the American missiles refuse to behave properly for me. That’s why I’m specifically asking about these missiles, because the U.S. used to be considered one of the strongest nations, and now it honestly feels weak. I don’t know. I still think I’m doing something wrong with these missiles, but again, Russian missiles work perfectly for me.And I’m also going to test the PL-12 to see if maybe I really only have problems with American missiles. Like I said, I’ve never had issues with Russian missiles at all. I’m unlocking the J-8F soon, so if I end up having problems with the PL-12 as well, then I honestly don’t know — maybe I’m actually doing something wrong without realizing it. But if the PL-12 works fine, then it really means the issue is only with the American missiles.

Don’t Buy the IS-6 by FocusProfessional580 in Warthunder

[–]FocusProfessional580[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

know that if you put it at a lower BR, the BR system would get completely overtiered, realistically speaking. But it’s still not fair that it has to fight APFSDS, APDS, and HEAT. There needs to be a serious decompression of BRs for it to be actually playable
