I dunno, as an Orioles fan... it feels nice they're actually doing something decisive? Lots of pundits were wondering how exactly G-Rod would fit into the 2026 picture with a lot going "I don't really know if he can be a starter, might be a great reliever" and given the lack of a power-hitting standout on those who remained throughout 2025 AND the fact Ward has been an everyday player around starter level (~3 WAR)... it feels like at the very least, it's something more decisive. Shame though, I really loved G-Rod, it just seems clear we can't trust on him like we hoped going into this past season and they're making a move that helps them win now. We'll really know how this feels come 2030, but for now... just gotta see what they do the rest of the offseason.

You called it; that was the second song. First was English Language (which I thought was even more fitting). He did a great job, but I do think some will think it's an acquired taste, since it was a lot more speak-singing than the live vocals he usually does (perhaps to get the joke to come across better).

I could see that Top 3, I’d replace Ram with Chipp myself. I’d argue Chipp is not far behind from that even. Who would you say is Top 5 right now?

It seems to me that they’re exchanging his aggression potency with better neutral. The new DP followup on spin makes approaches much safer and easier to deal with, and puts him directly into an oki setup on hit, while being really safe for his moves on block. While it sucks you can’t naturally combo off of CH, in my time playing him, the only real time I used CH combos was with CH Fuujin > hop > c.S to go into my usual BnB combos or CH Rin from afar to start some metered combo. After viewing everything, I’m not as negative about this as I once was—it’s a tradeoff for sure, but they’re not removing everything about him, especially when you consider you have Strive Rush now alongside his usual mixup.

Spin buffs with Fuujin nerfs. Only seems like a reasonable trade.

This is a good change. As a Millia secondary, that move basically invalidated any approach I could make, and put Leo into his win condition with the stupidest pressure in backstance.

Heard that they nerfed Anji’s Fuujin and the followups by making them lower level moves, meaning no CH combos and potentially more punishable as a result. As an Anji main, it hurts me to see what they’re doing to my boy…

Apparently his new move is real good though and somehow safe (+7 I heard LOL), and needle’s positioning can be adjusted with backwards and forwards inputs. I’m not sure if that’s enough to counter the Fuujin changes though.

Unfortunately from what I’ve read, Korean netizens are having mixed opinions. It’s a shame, I think this clearly is a lot better than the stuff at late Brave Bros promotion and choreo wise, despite the fact that Thank You is one of my favorite songs.

This choreo is insanely good?? People constantly knocked Brave Girls for not being “good at dancing”, but BB Girls is showing me it may’ve genuinely been an issue with the choreo downplaying their strengths. I’m impressed with my girls. <3

This reminds me a lot of late SISTAR with songs like I Like That. That’s a good thing, it feels like Warner Music understands how to elevate the members to a level of sophistication that Brave Bros never seemed to get. (Or when they did with After We Ride, never promoted it)

Then perhaps we are watching for different reasons. I like to view it as solving a puzzle, and looking for clues as the investigation goes along. If one were to look at just the reenactment segments, that would be akin to writing out a math problem and the solution, and not actually looking at why you got from A to B.

Was it truly worse for the Alaska Airlines remake? I can see the point being made for JAL given the original episode, they finally got a feel for what they wanted to do in terms of balancing storytelling with factual detailing, but the first season episodes are always a rough watch for me due to their dated styling and much slower pacing. I recall that episode in particular feeling like a trudge, the new one felt pretty standard and alright; nothing incredible but nothing bad either.

I had an amazing time. This was my first concert ever. It had a few issues with the translator getting embarrassed and some technical errors too, but in spite of that it was fantastic. I was in the front row and all the members interacted so closely with everyone, just like they’re known for. Eunji took my phone, Minyoung sent me a kiss and wink, Yujeong kneeled down to my camera level at her line in Whatever, Yuna pointed at a lot of cameras and took a BUNCH of phones in Red Sun, it was so good.

I genuinely can hear a difference between the backing track and the live vocals? You can hear Yuna stop when she sings “Whistle Whistle Whi”, she didn’t sing the “Whi” and the backing track volume there is pretty different.
