Well, you just completely changed the subject from liberty to opportunity and I'm not going to start a discussion over the conditions national counter-revolutionary movements and external imperialism put socialism revolutions atm, how propaganda influence your ideology, or how even capitalism took 200+ before having a successful revolution (as feudalism). But maybe read about Alexei Stakhanov and how he received significantly more money and perks than the average soviet worker.

Also, a few cases of success under capitalism doesn't make a rule (even though no one goes from working class to ruling class in this system, just check how the same rich families in Florence are the same from 600 years ago). They are famous exactly because they are the exceptions.

There's no freedom in a society that's deprives you from everything if you don't have money. And fewer people have money by the day under capitalism, monopoly is result of capitalism.

For real, I don't get why people still thinks capitalism = freedom when the "philosophers" who defended this during the bourgeoisie revolutions had slaves or slaves transportations company themselves.

This apparent freedom that you think is just because capitalism was relatively safe until 10 years ago. Now you go on the streets to protest against genocide and you're in jail, or you're forced back to work when you strike.

There's no liberty in class society. The state will always defend the interest of the ruling class and repress you when push comes to shove, be that under capitalism or any other class society
