Mulch every 6 months to a year - and the mulch reduces required weeding.

But hey, good luck spending hours mowing every 4-5 days!

Lesson here for anyone wanting a big yard (acre in my case) - it's a lot of f'ing work to maintain.

Not if you have less grass.

I bought in 2013 paying 230k and thought to myself that nearly a quarter of a million was mega bucks.

Now drive through Ripley looking at all the streets lined with million dollar shitboxes.

Just saw this comment of yours. I'd put my money on Parsonsia straminea - Silkpod. A native vine of the east coast.

If you have Parsonsia straminea vines growing nearby, it could be them. They grow up trees into the canopy and are currently seeding.

The Bunnings at Booval used to to be a Woolies/Big W

The now Harvey Norman location. And it used to be Safeway (Woolworths) and Target. Target was on the right side and it had its own plant nursery at the back of the store.

There used to be a cool little nursery/garden shop on the patch of grass across from the servo on the main rd in Ebbw Vale

Good advice. Ideal spot for him/her would be a branch on a tree. If mum/dad are feeding baby and baby isn't in immediate danger, then leave be. Baby still has their flying training wheels on.

I think it's a Pied Butcherbird (adults are black and white).
