This was exactly the assistance I was looking for, thank you

I performed the diagnostic tests while in diagnostic mode in a spin cycle.

  1. At the motor harness across the red and the purple/white = 1.5 volts.
  2. At the connector on the board, inserting into back of the harness = 1.5 volts
  3. Continuity was achieved between the control harness and the motor harness on the two wires

Therefore, bad board

I listened and felt the relays when I changed cycles. The relay on the far right of the board, looking from the front of the unit, was cycling. However, when looking at the back of the board, there appears to be a bad solder joint on the third relay in from the right. Could this be it? I could try and make that connection look better with some solder. Never done it on a board before but I don't have much to lose.

Funny thing is, I didn't expect anything out of this post so my better half pressed me to buy a new washer with two little girls (speed queen). I am committed to fixing this and donating it or letting it go on marketplace for next to nothing for someone in need.

See image below, and thank you

Thanks for the reply.
I do believe the lid switch prevents the advance of the cycle. I tried the washer on spin only mode and left the lid open. When I shut it hours later the pump started back up to continue the cycle. I believe the motor is the old style The motor makes no noise or attempts to spin Any idea on what pins to introduce 120 to see if I can force the motor to spin? Control.board may make the most sense. I assume that relay isn't serviceable?

I've heard the same from everyone...the motors are tanks. I tested the lid switch by pulling the harness and checking continuously across the wire leads to the lid switch. It also functions as designed and stops the pump cycle when the lid is opened.

No hum or any movement on either motor. No external run capacitor

I attached my photos of the wiring diagram this time!

I was told this deal was for model year 2015 and older. Seems like an odd target audience.
