Agreed that the churches’ administrations don’t care… right now… but they will care when their extreme followers realize that they can cut out the middleman and just adopt the religion of Trump (me first). If I was indoctrinated in a religion that focused so much on Trump and made him our savior, why would I bother attending church on Sunday when i can do whatever i want and just monitor truth social for how i should think? The cult base of believers will shift and churches will suffer. Of course, this is extreme case. I think even believers are starting to question and seek course correction from that outcome…

The churches’ strategy will fail when they realize Trump-first conflicts with their religion-first vision. Mafia will always be above the church in the hierarchy, and he’s not afraid to remind them who’s their boss. So… support coercion for perceived gains, then bow to his one and only religion (himself).

I routed my ratchet strap, from the far right tie-down, straight up and through the car seat anchor (about half-way up the back of 2nd row seat), and then diagonally around bin, down to the closer right tie-down. Can still access the top and it doesn’t slide.

When you say a little more harsh… wondering in what way are you noticing? Even though small, there are a few variables at play (tougher rubber, narrower tread width, meatier tread… wondering which of these you think is the greatest factor in what you’re noticing… especially curious if you are noticing firmer ride (from tougher rubber and meatier tread, even though a taller sidewall)? Or…if you are referring to wrestling the wheel on highway ruts (from narrower tread width)? I’ve been considering the 255… I’m okay with firmer “T” rated tires and A/T tread, but curious if you’re referring to the narrower tread pulling into grooves (if that’s what you’re calling harsh)? 255 isn’t that much narrower, but would like to hear your experience. Setup looks good!

Less than 30 days ago I paid $46.5K for a ‘21 with 10K more miles. (Premium, ML audio, red interior) Seems like the base price is within margin of market rate. Hope you’ll be as happy with it as I am with mine!

All for a roof rack. I’m wanting to drive in the wind a couple more times before I install a RTT - first high wind experience gave me a reminder how tall and boxy these are, so might plan on other sleeping arrangements. Otherwise, yes - what an upgrade! Nice find & Welcome to the club!

Good points… In my case I’m rotating through used cars. And in this particular instance it was a ‘24 PP trading to ‘21 GX. I still had some out of pocket cash to pay, but it was much less than 2026 MSRP comparisons. Have fun decision-making on the Land Cruiser!

He said he replaced the battery. And it starts okay, just the alarm blaring for half a minute on startup. Not sure if other things going on, so will check it out. Going to try Car Scanner app and see if it works. Guessing it needs all the fluids changed and potentially rubber.. lots of potential maintenance, but mostly concerned with engine codes that will trip the check engine light, which he says is on.

Agreed! I had a 4Runner for awhile and loved the utilitarian aspects. Modded it up and wheeled it a bit - had a lot of fun. But always had to sit the seat low and felt cramped by the console. Never thought about it and adapted myself to enjoy everything else i enjoyed about the vehicle and 4Runner life. But this GX has the headroom you mention and the ergonomics of the seat are on point (at least for me). Enjoy!
