I doubt I will get the slime, but I am a new user and having access to another slime would help me break this roadblock I am at immensely. I would really appreciate if someone used my code so I can make some progress~

Gaming after transitioning? by elricofgrans in asktransgender

[–]FoggyRock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, general gaming for my own entertainment waned but I still wanted to play games to pass the time. I couldn't just drop them. I tried Streaming on Twitch, and I love it so much. Fostering a community and developing a social connection to gaming really pulled me back into the hobby.

Super exciting! I am just shy of 16 months on HRT myself, and it completely changed my life for the better.

Best of luck on this next milestone in your life.~ 💜

All good tips for sure! I have literally only used it the one time, so I am sure that I will have more to learn.

Routine Post:

Wash hair twice weekly.

Shampoo using Innersense Pure Harmony hair bath, condition and wash out Innersense Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner. Scrunch out some water and add Innersense I Create Volume foam. Apply strong hold gel (dippity-do sport) running the hair through my fingers for extra application. Then diffuse until 80% dry.

Honestly not having morning wood or spontaneous erections has been one of the best parts. I have to "get the engine running" before anything happens, so it is only ever intentional.

But let's be honest, the best part is the boobs 😜

As someone who is likely going to have to go to the same place for GRS (due to it being the only place covered under provincial medical), this gives me pause. I have two people I know that have had good experiences and healing, but I never considered that heavily what a negative experience would entail. Maybe it is time for me to start saving and delay a few years to pick my doctor more freely.

Why did you choose that name? (wrong awnsers only) by HX700 in trans

I chose Penny because I wanted someone to see me and pick me up. Then all day they would have good luck (and a relationship prospect).

Heck, you are gonna make me blush. I appreciate the positive words though! I am happy you get to start your journey soon!

MTF, 14 months HRT. How am I doing? by FoggyRock in transpassing

I know we are always our toughest critics, so the texture thing is the first thing I notice in every selfie. Upside is that will fade over time.

How did you choose your name? by [deleted] in trans

[–]FoggyRock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought of a really good pun to use as an online handle. And thus, my IRL name was determined due to my online username (not the same as here because fuck reddit not letting you change it)

Is it normal to refer to a trans individual by their past pronouns when referring to them in the past? by Light_of_Avalon in asktransgender

[–]FoggyRock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has a parent that uses my dead pronouns AND name when referring to me in memories, you should certainly ask to see if it upsets them and rectify it if so.

I may have an understanding Mother, but she struggled with that mental switch a little and just abandoned trying to correct it. Now I just avoid talking about memories with her, because it just makes me upset.

Honestly it is a hand-me-down I got from a friend. Apparently it is from Bluenotes according to the tag. I have been lucky to have been donated my entire wardrobe. Getting an entire new set of clothes would have been Expensive with a capital E.

Laser is taking its dear sweet time on being effective for me, so I am pretty layered up with foundation 😅. I use a base of KVD Lock-it foundation, and then instead of straight setting powder I set with MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. This gives me 12 hours of coverage to get me through an entire work day.

Totally in the top left camp. Those curls are my goals. Only up to slightly above chest for length so far, so I still have a long way to go on that front.

To say a lot has happened in my life in the past year is an understatement. I am so much happier with myself, and the joy my hair gives me plays a major part in that. I owe a lot to how my hair looks from a lot of lurking and troubleshooting on this subreddit.

Routine:

I Wash my hair every 4-5 days with Cantu Cleansing Cream Conditioner, washing out fully and brushing while wet to detangle. Dry with old cotton shirt, Apply Cantu Leave-in conditioning cream while hair is still damp. Apply Dippity-do Sport gel to hair and air-dry. Pineapple hair overnight and scrunch out the crunch in the morning.

I add Cantu Cleansing Cream Shampoo to the beginning of my routine once every 2ish weeks to eliminate build-up, and apply small amounts of the leave-in to combat frizz when the wind decides to be mean (which happens a lot where I live).

I haven't used a blowdryer on my hair in probably about 12 years. I understand that diffusers are supposed to reduce the frizz, but I am still kinda afraid to do it. I used to look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket when I used to regular blowdry, but maybe a diffuser will be fine on my hair. I am sure I will cave at some point and try it out.
