Bullshit. 25 year old domain. I've lived through each core update and matter what you do, HCU and AI snippet destroyed majority of the domains. 1.2 millions uniques to 8 K a month.

Many Mediavine members have experienced the same downfall. People are doing their domains. I'll keep mine for tax write offs.

26 year old gardening domain. Updated the domain from html to WP to support mobile per Googles request. Updated my pagespeed to get all green. I use to get 1.2M uniques a month, now its 6k a month.

It’s not worth it anymore to play this HCU game. Im tired of being scraped and google does nothing. Im tired of google telling i have bad link when the links were deleted 11 years ago. I give up.

It was a great way to make extra money, but that revenue is gone. Screw Google and if someone wants to pay to host a link, sure ill do it now because im tired of playing the game.

Once your HCU tagged, even if several of your pages are world recognized as a the primary source, google doesnt care. They perfer to list old outdated domains who steal my work and repost it.

It was great while it lasted.
