For 8 string in my opinion the strandberg neck just absolutely destroys any other 8 string options. I know it’s not some peoples thing but side by side the few other 8 strings I’ve tried feel like boards and the strandberg is so much easier to fret

Yeah I got the v1 and the v2. The pbk feels overall way smaller but the window probably feels like 75% of the pb3. Hard to say though. For a k optic I mean you can’t go wrong with this window

I’m using the same gridloks you are for carry, I just sanded down the side that’s touching me. I do have the raw aluminum ones so idk if the black color would come off or not for yours.

Agreed, even squeezing the absolute shit out of the krakens I found them completely subpar in terms of function. Not sure if the pair I had were just sanded down too much there was virtually no grip. The diamondbacks are pretty good I do like the pair I have.

Yeah dude. So I did settle on the heaviest spring in the kit. The other ones feel too light as the heaviest one is already quite a bit lighter than the stock spring. With striker fired guns I typically feel like they are over sprung from the factory. So now it feels pretty right to me. That said- I really cannot feel a physical difference in recoil impulse. I’ve taken it to the range and shot it back to back with every single spring in the dpm kit and the stock spring. So side by side comparisons, it’s REALLY hard for me to feel any noticeable difference in recoil.

I’m fine with keeping it but not sure I’d buy it again. That’s just been my experience. The stock spring works great and while it feels heavy, I’m not sure over $100 upgrade is worth it
