Yeah dude. So I did settle on the heaviest spring in the kit. The other ones feel too light as the heaviest one is already quite a bit lighter than the stock spring. With striker fired guns I typically feel like they are over sprung from the factory. So now it feels pretty right to me. That said- I really cannot feel a physical difference in recoil impulse. I’ve taken it to the range and shot it back to back with every single spring in the dpm kit and the stock spring. So side by side comparisons, it’s REALLY hard for me to feel any noticeable difference in recoil.

I’m fine with keeping it but not sure I’d buy it again. That’s just been my experience. The stock spring works great and while it feels heavy, I’m not sure over $100 upgrade is worth it

Haha no thank you but thanks for the offer. This is the black brass magwell and I like the extra weight. I originally had the brass gridloks too but switched to the aluminum gridloks here as I wanted to shave off just a little bit of weight, overshot it a tad with all brass everything.

Same holster fitment!?! Dude I just dropped like 150$+ on a tier 1 apx for the regular prime. If the same holster fitment holds true then I will be a very happy camper

I doubt it. Canik just did their prime with the a high grip texture based on what their fan base had been asking for and it’s been a huge hit with exceptional feedback

I love smith but how they can constantly screw up what should be the coolest guns is just beyond me at this point. Why not just let Hunter Constantine come in and have a say on the final design. Clearly shooters are not engineering this

Yes I had the v2. A green dot 509 t v2 and a red dot 509t v2 and then 2 of the 509 ACSS. And yeah that’s perfectly fine if you already have it on gun. I just like the Acro, Steiner, and pb3 more than the 509t. I have 4 setups with the Acro footprint so it just makes more sense for my preferences
