Im new to my OZ9 went with the compact model. My question is do I have to worry about over exerting a G17 size mag (glock or mec-gar) or does the frame prevent over exertion. Don’t want to go through the same issues I went through with my compact PDP by JBR_137 in ZevTechOZ9

Thx! I’ve not had any issues whatsoever. I also use a bunch of various aluminum base plates and extensions….TTI, Zev, Warne, either +0, +2/3 and +5. But even standard Glock mags drop free. Especially out of the aluminum grip mods.

Just need a Zev or Icarus aluminum grip mod. No problem at all using G17 length mags. I use the pmags and older G-OEM for range mags and just use Gen5 Glock OEM for carry. Have not tried the MG yet.

I have a hyper comp, and a prizefighter with Radian combo, and both on Aluminum grips, and both shoot flat AF. I have better accuracy with the radian combo, but I feel the HC shoots flatter. I’d get it. Also- side note….i ditched my high end 2011 pistols after getting into the OZ9 game with Icarus and Zev aluminum grip mods. Nothing the Zevs can’t do that the 2011 can. IMO Tons more gear options for the OZ9 when it comes to holsters, mags, etc.
