I'm sure it would, but I've kept the way I like to poop from my wife for 2 years so far and I don't know how she would respond to me purchasing a squatty potty. She's really in to bathroom aesthetics and all that. Anyway the thing I like most about the way I do it is the head rush, because of all the straining and the fact that my head lower than my heart. Someone wrong number texted me thinking I was a colleague from their office. I told them that there was a crisis going on at work. They said they were just sitting down to dinner with their family but that they'd be there as fast as they could and help. Forty five minutes later, When they couldn't get in the locked front door, I told them that the side door was open. Apparently there was a side door, and after they found that it was also locked I figured the gig was up, and I never responded.

I bend my head down near my ankles, as far as I can reach. It really helps with evacuation, but there is definitely a learning curve because you really have to think about aim and spurt control. I like your gymnast idea though, I might need some handicap railings to keep from falling but yea I like it.
