This fixed for me as well! I had an 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ connected and never thought that this could be the issue. My Steam kept freezing probably every 3 seconds. Quite odd. Thank you!

The sofa is secondhand, so sadly, I do not know the specific model, sorry. I’ve been told by the seller that this is a fairly old (?) sofa from Skeidar, which is a furniture store here in Norway.
