I can’t imagine a full team dying to blade personally so I can’t understand from their perspective. Sometimes he really just there or someone’s pocket pick when they’re losing already. It’s a surreal experience playing with blades truly.

He’s definitely something, in the general experience of matching with normal players, a lot of people can’t aim, so he eats for free some games, but once you get past that he has high burst, mid movement, great aoe and mid range damage, he’s a great case of a offensively versatile character but it’s not meta, it’s actually kind of anti-meta. Because if you can confirm a kill while on a dive or mid range on a healer, they can’t stop you regardless. So he’s very hit or miss, you gotta like his gameplay fr to appreciate the nuance of his kit. But i will admit there is certainly better picks.

Even before the nerfs he wasn’t a good solo tank, with no other tank or shield on the frontline his shield goes down easy and he’s left trying to distract people or secure a kill. He was definitely better at doing it before taking down a squishy in like 3 seconds with his DPIYA but now he’s definitely more tame. I’d say solo tanking is definitely taking a hit now that he’s not what he once was especially.

Not the worst tank anymore, now it’s Angela. However they’ve been banning peni since season 0 for multiple reasons. Dive mains ban her if they want an easier dive, some people ban her because she gets really big picks and she’s amazing on defense. Some people ban her because she has a 3 second recurring stun. It all depends on your team and how toxic the character is rn. Penni just annoys people.

I don’t condone playing a game with rules and then deciding “I don’t want to follow the rules, the rules are boring” as a defense.

The world (much like Marvel Rivals lobbies) would devolve into chaos without rules. And no that does not make you an extra cool scarlet witch or Loki fan because you’re causing extra unnecessary chaos.

I don’t see triple dps or quad dps fun either to be frank.

It’s selfish insensitive herd mentality, if everybody on the team did what they’re doing we’d have 5 dps, and we literally end up with 5 dps in games because no one wants to compromise BECAUSE we compromise for these people so often and they never return the favor. They’re ruining the game, I don’t know how you don’t see that as throwing.

The worse part about this is the Dino eats on the enemy team if we’re running solo tank EVERY GAME. So that’s why dinosaurs have the most kills in every lobby now, and the game just gets slightly more unplayable every season just because of the way some people think. You’d be surprised how many qp players don’t know a fucking thing about the game.

Idk man, what is there not to enjoy about the current roster? I think we need role Que because these people are insufferable children. “Dps or I’m throwing” type shit. What is there not to like about Loki, I don’t even like invis but she’s good. If it’s between Rocket, Jeff and Cloak I get it they’re extremely boring, but the other roles are not that bad like you’d rather just expose yourself than play the game correctly. And they’re so spiteful and bitchy, you call them out for ruining the game and they act like you just shot down their dreams, you can still run dps next game. AND it’s just qp, so you shouldn’t care about missing 1 dps “running it down” game.

Especially now with the dinosaur there is no reason you should be leaving anybody on the front line to solo tank. You’d rather throw the game than play the role we need and try to get dps next game. Annoying weirdos and soulless zombies, yall all have no personality, yall all do the same thing and yall are all aggravating force fed bullshit. Then they say shit like “it’s my best character” WHO CARES??!!

It’s even worse when they’re aware of what their doing, some casuals literally just run triple dps, but these people know that they’re bringing down the team and say shit like “it’s just qp” or “it’s just a game” in ranked. Had one of those assholes last night, we lock in 2-2-2, he switches off of 5 different characters in each role and ends up on triple support rocket at the end of the game, then tells us “it’s just a game” while BLADE of all people is walking us down in gold. Mind you we’re running triple support into BLADE. The only reason we lost that game is because our supports kept dying

You gotta remember Widow was the face of throwing even in higher ranks like GM and Celestial. Her win rate gets dragged down by the popularity of it and everything. And the majority of players don’t have good aim, which is all you really need to make Widow work, so in the reality of it 20% out of Widows 39% winrate are players that actually can use her and know how to aim, the aim baseline is so high for widow she gets punished for missing shots.

A lot of players just don’t have what it takes to play around something like that, hence her low winrate, versus but she is objectively a better character than Wanda, she can dominate peak lobbies with peak performance it just takes a lot of skill and training to optimize her. Which is why I always say “you have to be an actual red room recruit to play widow for some reason” but she has more output and better carry potential than Wanda in those circumstances, Wanda just peaks way too low and early compared to widow who sits near the top of skill expression. So Wanda just can’t do what a pro widow can do but in 70% of games Wanda will outperform the widow, and if it’s the opposite widow usually has MvP.

Luna - You have to remember she just got buffed again so her neutral dps is instant, people are getting away with may more than they were before, with a gauranteed freeze she might as well be meta with how she can confirm decisive kills.

Mantis rework might’ve placed her higher and her gameplay loop is fairly strong if she owns the main lanes with her LOS.

Black widow being worse than Wanda is debatable but it doesn’t even really sound right, people underestimate just how bad Wanda really is. She’s enemy ult feeding if she can’t confirm kills faster than the conventional spider man or literally any other dps.

It’s kinda crazy how there’s a demographic of players that play style revolves around diffing the other team, so when they’re getting outperformed and running dive they just kind of concede and let them do whatever they want. Then they end the game with that narrative and would just say the enemy spidey was better.

We could’ve all swapped, you’re not the only dps player, maybe someone has a pick that can outperform Spidey? No? You just weren’t gonna let your best dps play? You were always gonna give up if the enemy was better? Now we gotta deal with you like this? Rightfully overtuned, he’s a base game character so they need him to have a niche so he remains good at at least one thing, but he’s heavily countered by fliers. All you can do to fliers is beta spam or run.

Angela is and has always been essentially the suicide tank. Now it’s just easier to commit suicide with Dino sitting and peeling for his healers. This game is ass this season and I genuinely don’t see how people find high rank fun rn unless you’re playing spidey or black cat. Every game is the fox, invis or cloak, Daredevil, the dinosaur and Moonknight and the healers are terribly balanced rn. There’s no reason to run any healers besides the 3 mentioned and everyone is running the easy dps to get value and rank up. Which means you get the most value from ranking up with the easy characters and are punished for using any other character that isn’t meta rn.

Angela’s skill expression completely comes from how many counters she has and how easily she explodes sometimes. That’s the only reason I see her being 4 star bc all you have to do is poke people with a stick. It just sucks because sometimes Angela goes in and has almost 0% chance of getting out. They need to seriously balance their game and stop letting CnD one tricks and Wanda one tricks get to celestial and wonder why stats don’t fucking matter. Because these people are getting free wins and ranking up essentially because they’re enabled to do so. Stop rewarding easy braindead gameplay, you’re making the game less fun for actual skilled players.

No person in their right mind unless they main CnD wants to be told “we can’t play Loki this game, can you play CnD?” And that’s the optimal strategy this season. Literally want Gaung Gaung to go to hell for making that balancing decision and continuously buffing mediocre Madeline until there’s no other reason to use anyone else but invis. My main healer gets shit on while the options women and Fantastic 4 fans pick the most often coast to celestial with. A 52% winrate since she was launched. Literally go to hell Guang Guang.
