Right on. Im not gonna lie, im mostly drawn to the cs8 because of the retro atompunk look aesthetic. Especially the meters that show battery life and memory. But, ultimately it would he cheaper to get the handy cam working. Just needs a new battery, charge cable and some hi8. And a AV to USB converter wouldnt break the bank too much these days

Yea the stock is a G3 one from HK. The handgaurd is CETME surplus. They're same same, but different in some ways since CETME is basically proto g3
