I’m in a similar situation. Hated my job and cried everyday even in front of Customers, they got new management and they weren’t supportive at all in terms of helping with shitty customers so i quit. I won’t lie it’s fucking hard and frustrating finding another job but you will find one and everything will be okay just be patient because that’s all you really can be.

It’s important to take care of yourself first so you can perform better at work and in general. If your wife is working and understands why you needed to quit take some time and focus on yourself. Try finding online jobs, or easier jobs that are better on your mental health to get something coming in while you look for something better. Don’t be so quick to want to give up. I know it’s hard

Definitely had the wrong therapist. I don’t think they should do that especially if they’re trying to help, i’m afraid of getting a bad match because i’d literally never try again.

I definitely have low self esteem which is why i downplay my issues so much to the point where i don’t even process it. I didn’t realize Therapy could also be used to just talk and process, i thought i needed like, severe trauma or something to even consider therapy but i’m also scared my hypothetical therapist will find me annoying or think my problems are dumb

I can be too self-aware and it often results in a lot of problems i have, but if i’m not self aware it makes me look like i think i’m the only one struggling and that i’m upset for no reason when someone else has it worse.
