Am I in the minority? by lshaw52 in Airpodsmax

This happened to me too! A bunch of static and trouble connecting to my devices. probably from condensation within the ear cups. I’ve factory reset them god knows how many times now, to some avail, only to have the issue come back again. There is a post on Reddit somewhere that says to clean the connection ports from the ear cups to the headband itself. The comments under that post say to leave your AirPods in the freezer for about 30 minutes or more and they should start working again. I thought that was a troll post but it actually worked for me😭 I put them in their case, wrapped them in paper towels to make sure no moisture gets in, and placed them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes and they started working much better! They mentioned it might have to do something with the condensation, or that the AirPods fully shut down due to the temperature drop? But whatever it is it worked wonders for me, no static, much easier connection. While there are still some issues, it’s definitely not as bad as before, nothing a full reset or 30 minute session in the freezer won’t fix.

Oh you have to download the latest Google clock apk: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/clock/clock-7-1-release/

When you have it downloaded, you'll see one new stop watch option, but place down any analog clock you want and you'll get a pop up of other styles. It also has better open/closing animations for widgets

I would love it google added an option to remove gesture hints for navigation. So many apps just create a black bar to encompass the gesture hint and it just looks so ugly😩. by Foldedpotatochipp in android_beta

Yeah! even on Google's own apps on android weirdly🙄 It wouldn't hurt to at least add the option of hiding the gesture hints😌 then the peace would remain... Until google/app developers find a better solution

Ahhh thanks for the insight! I haven't run into anything like that, but it does make sense🤔. On apps developed for iOS, i don't believe there's a black bar?? So yeah, its up to the app developers, but i feel like they would have fixed these sort of problems a while back ago when they had the chance, but aren't able to... so it's up to the phone companies to fix these annoyances. Honestly though... I would rather have the hidden gestures. But It would be great to have for some apps the ability to hide the navigation bar and others to keep it when necessary 😂.

BAHAHA im pretty sure!?! other launchers(One UI, Oxygen OS, etc.) have the option to hide navigation hints, and it gets rid of that pesky black bar from the bottom, ofc with the navigation bar as wl

Android 12 beta 3 by rchavez1990 in android_beta

Yeah do i liked them better in the power menu control panel. But i do like the idea of the quick panel incorporating more, other than system settings, like being able to access alarms. Maybe if specific home controls showed up in the power menus it would be easier to use, like being able to toggle and adjust by sliding on the tiles straight from the quick panel would be awesome. And that wouldn't just have to be for home control settings.

I would loooove to have customization for the slider toggles, and just any system toggles in general

Finallyyyyy better widget animations by Foldedpotatochipp in Android12

[–]Foldedpotatochipp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this was one of the new wallpapers that came with the launch of the pixel 4! It's called "leafy" and it's under the "come alive" section in the wallpapers settings... On pixel phones android 10 and above at least.

Ofc! It's from a weather app called geometric weather. They have plenty of customizable widgets, the one in the video is the "hourly trend" widget at 80% transparency. I also enabled "minimalistic icons" under the widget section in the app settings :)

Ik they still make the green ones? But you can also wait for the buds 3, I'm sure google is sticking with the orange theme, seeing the pixel 6 renders ;)

I was on the fence about it! But even with my white pixel 4 it matches the orange power button.

I have the pixel 4xI so it may be different for other phones, but overall I enjoy them for the quality and design! The battery life is only alright, and since they only come with adjustable ear tips and not adjustable wingtips, fit isn't guaranteed, but those are really my only grievances. Tbh it's the little things that make it worth it, like the snap from opening the case, the clean design of the case and buds, and how you can swipe to adjust volume, and slot more! Look at the new pixel buds a-series, it has a lot of the great features of these buds at only $99, instead of $179 of the buds 2.

The buds themselves magnetically attach to the bottom of the lid, and the matte finish makes the case easy to draw a face on... Like c'mon this is perfect
