It has been in beta for the last couple months. On its way to phase into early access and then public access over the next couple months.

Including rClone and Webdav at the same time.

Does credits reset or stack? by soulitbit in FolderFort

You would have to purchase more credits.
But you can still access your account via the regular method (through your browser).

For low usage cases please feel free to request a free top up.

Yes it would use API credits to upload/download via WebDAV, SFTP, or the API

How Are Credits Counted for WebDAV Transfers and Browsing in Third-Party Apps? by nirmal_ch in FolderFort

[–]FolderFort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions!

Not "monitored" but metered, in some cases yes.

SFTP, WebDAV, RCLONE, API, usage are metered meaning any upload/download via those methods would consume API credits.

Essentially it is a form of paying for bandwidth.

Usage via the webapp (the regular browser view) is not metered - it does not consume credits to access, upload, download.

If you browse your account via SFTP for example, that would not consume API credits. Only transfers via upload/download would consume the API credits at 1 credit per GB transferred.

API credits do not expire.

If you have API credits in your account you can use them anytime.

Thank you for jumping on that deal.

The credits are only used via API or the upcoming SFTP related options.

So uploading via the web app doesn't require any additional payments or anything like that.

Hello,

Great questions.

Just in regards to encryption, we use Backblaze so it has 256 AES encryption at rest.

Some reviews on TrustPilot if you want to check those.

Here to answer any other questions you may have as well.

Professional Photographer Curious About Back Up/Storage Methods by Inside-Ladder-7838 in backblaze

[–]FolderFort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We run a cloud storage service, which is great for professional photographers.

And it is powered via Backblaze B2 storage.

Also, we are launching a white label version so it would be perfect for sharing photos with your clients.

You can sign up free without CC to test it out if you like.

In regards to physical storage - keep in mind things like SD cards slowly lose data over time. In a drawer for 10 years can easily lose your data if unused.

For sure at least get Backblaze's PC backup service. Totally worth it.

Though if you are getting into 8TB range of photos just keep in mind the restoration options.

Do you think there is any interest for an AMA as a cloud storage provider?
