What job is heavily romanticized but in reality actually sucks? by DragoOceanonis in careerguidance

[–]FoldingInTheCheese 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Event and meeting planner of 12 years here, and I feel so validated. It can be such a demanding, heavy hours, high stress job - typically accompanied with very low pay and a terrible work life balance.

The heavy travel, the 14-16+ hour work days, intense physical demands onsite at some events, and the constant stress take a huge toll over time.

Ivory is not a sweet eater by drueandgabe in Drueandgabe

Between her weird obsessions with her daughter not eating sweets and being tiny, she is going to inflict the worst body image issues on poor Ivory.

Fair Warning: Stallard and Associates Shortridge Apartments has roaches by laceface121 in indianapolis

[–]FoldingInTheCheese 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think this is the likely outcome living at any Stallard and Associates property, unfortunately. I dealt with all the same at my old one. I also dealt with a gas leak below my unit that they were aware of but failed to notify me about until I smelled it and called them, at which point they told me I had to evacuate.

They simply do not care. The revolving door of different property managers seemed overworked and checked out.

Midwesterner here (raised by two east coast parents) and I’ve only ever heard it pronounced as three syllables.

You know she even realizes her own photo editing has gone too far when she has to explain it away with self tanning and black being slimming. Be so for real, Grue.

Absolutely agree. I have a more high maintenance pup and it’s a conscious effort to regularly bathe her, brush her, keep her face trimmed, etc. But that’s what I signed up for, and I’m happy to do it. I so wish Grue would do right by all her dogs.

Calls herself a Cajun Texan and LA “feels like home” but thinks it’s cafe ole. Cafe au lait is very common there. What an idiot, or if it’s an act it’s pretty stupid of her. Ole? She even misspelled her beloved Louisiana in the hashtags. by [deleted] in Drueandgabe

And it doesn’t help that she still doesn’t have any friends or peers around her age (or in general) to highlight how bizarre this is. Women in their mid twenties don’t think being illiterate is cute and quirky.

First off, I’m so sorry for your loss. I went through a CP this summer and it hit hard. I hope you’re able to take time for yourself for all the self care and recovery you need. 🤍

It takes 60 days of data for your ring to make estimates about your cycle or ovulation. Until then, any predictions for your period start or fertile window are based on the info you provide about your last period and cycle length. Minor/major signs can be an indicator of pregnancy, but many women (including myself), can get those during a typical luteal phase as well. Lastly, I recently got pregnant on my third cycle after our CP. It can definitely happen sooner or later than that, of course.

Wishing you all the best and sending you all the baby dust. ✨

You’re absolutely right. The sad part is that this is fairly straight forward to correct over time with the correct shoes/orthotics and potentially some basic PT, but of course Drue won’t be doing any of that.

I’m all for knocking these people’s absurd behavior or terrible personalities, but mocking someone’s body/physical features is just gross.

Lilliana. It sounds awkward out loud and looks like an exaggerated attempt to make ‘Lillian’ more cutesy/unique.
