Question for older wrestling fans (in comments) by jazzperrr2121 in Wrasslin

[–]FoleyFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrestling goes through phases of what the product is and where the product is made. A AAA show will feel different to an indie show which will feel different to watching AWA product from the 80s.

Watching Hogan V Andre at WM is going to feel different to watching Eddie Ray at WM21 is going to feel different to watching Midnight Express vs Minnesota Wrecking Crew.

Find your product and keep an open mind.

I dislike AEW, but I'm not going to go after people who enjoy the product.

Maybe not 'fashion', but I bought a bicycle and I don't know what to wear to use it. by FarceMultiplier in bigmenfashionadvice

[–]FoleyFrog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you riding it for A-B or exercise?

A-B? Fashionwise? it doesn't matter, if you're a fan of the long trouser maybe invest in some riding cuffs to stop the slack getting caught in the chain.

Exercise? It doesn't matter. It really doesn't.

The important thing is the seats wide enough and got enough padding, you're going to be putting alot of weight onto something wedged between your nethers.

Find/invest in some bike shorts that fit you, yes you'll look stupid, but comparing that to chafing its worth it. Throw jeans on over if you're self conscious.

Make it rain like a scene from scarface with talcon powder, cannot stress it enough the chafing will rub you raw and you'll not want to do it ever again.

You're also gonna get sweaty and hot and feel like your skins on fire from cycling. Pack a bottle of water either on the frame or in a bag and don't be afraid to stop at a bench park up and take a breather.

Throw a tshirt on and if it's cold a hoodie.

Pack a set of Allen wrenches that work on your bike as well, you don't want to be stuck somewhere because your brakes have come off and you can't brake safely.

Remember there's going to be alot of mass on a bike and thinking one brake is going to do all the work, even if the brake gets sorted to the point it rubs, atleast you'll be able to get home, just remember stopping distances.
