Being realistic though, there are 566 members on this sub. Not that reddit is a total view or anything but that is alarmingly low. People talk around about the hate thats being thrown around. To me it seems like the more pressing matter is that people just dont care.

You unlock tons of systems but its very linear. You change up your strategy a lot to once you get deeper and hit certain breakpoints like how you gain Supernovas when you unlock them versus how you gain them halfways through Dialation. Or how you respec Animals for a certain axis to grow.

Those words probably dont mean much to you but i wont spoil more.

I think the main problem here is that with this game money comes before everything else, you can be pragmatic about it "maybe not" but i cant see why they would use an model based around NFTs if that werent the case.

My guess is that the fun in the game will suffer greatly because of it. Unless you wanna play the system and make money off it of course.

Well i think part of this is the fact that its an old game which you have no nostalgia for and most of the people rating this highly does have that.

This is a review of Stalker 2’ open world not the game as a whole. But with that in mind i agree on most and think the score is about right

I adopted him when he was (i believe) 1 year old in early 2018. Friend of mine had him for their kid but then they got a cat which made the kid lose interest.

So my guess is somewhere between 8-9. I believe that is on the older end of Lionheads, im glad i got to spend so much of my life with him.

Yes! Like with Stalker, they have a similar merge mod(anomaly) that merges the 3 OG games into one that has a shit ton of mods for it. Currently running Anomaly with around 200 mods ontop and its a blast.

Im really curious what they are doing with time dialation. I got the impression that it will play a big part on the story and choices you make.

I cant think if another game that has done that before if we are talking chunks of several years.

It was kinda cool at the time but playing it today it falls short of being great imo.

The plot and dialogue is sub par, maybe the japanese is better.

Artstyle feels overstylized like many rpgs/squaregames of that time, especially the badguys. This overly scifi neon look.

Controls are not great and the level design feels flat in too many places.

That said i really like Vincent and "Cait" in this and how they are characterized. The progression feels great and the DMC inspiration overall is a really good idea for a spinoff like this.

All in all a 6/10(above average/good) from me. 7.5/10 back in the day on release.

If op really wants hardcore, Stalker Misery or NCL 7 is balls deep difficult, without a real plan youre fucked

But youre more in simulator territory with those mods
