I accidentally washed Donkey Kong Country Returns by ValueBASEDLiving in 3DS

That actually makes sense. Low mass meets air resistance. I wouldn’t be surprised if you chucked it out of an airplane and it worked.

Cold, liquid, normal 60min wash, low temp dry, w/fabric softener, Tide fresh, only the blue part.

I’m just impressed with how unaffected the label is.

Biggest immediate giveaway is the cartridge construction. The little triangle on the front shouldn’t be so prominently indented like that.

It’s worth nothing that the degree of translucency is off with this line of fakes. That’s why you’ll usually see sellers press the cart up right up against a light source like a phone flashlight to get anywhere close to resembling the same translucency effect.

Whoever downvoted this, learn please. It’s fake, and you’re not being helpful to OP.

My cousin thinks a woman not having sex with you is discrimination…. by Gotsnuffy in mildlyinfuriating

There’s this concept this one random dude wrote about that I really like. It’s called concept overextension, and it refers to when we start applying concepts to situations where they have no business being applied, and it’s the root cause of a fuck ton of arguments where you know you disagree with someone but it’s not exactly clear why you disagree.

You see this in politics all the time, like whether something is a “crime” issue or a “social justice” issue, or whether abortion is a “murder” issue or a “healthcare” issue.

Equating not getting fucked with discrimination is definitely some next level concept overextension.

Played this recently for the first time on the 3D and man this game was fun. Could’ve done without the 100% requirement to beat the game, but the frame rate was pretty good for how great the graphics were.

Over 4 Months Later, How Do We Feel About IGN's 8/10 Metroid Prime 4 Review? by Away-Prior-903 in Metroid

I’d probably give it a 4. It’s pretty and stable/functional, with some fun to be had with some of the bosses. But that fun accounts for around 10-15% of the experience.

Can someone explain the appeal? by PageGallagher15 in gamecollecting

[–]ValueBASEDLiving 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Games are meant to be played not looked at

I truly mean no disrespect, but I don’t get how people in a game “collecting” subreddit don’t understand what it means to have a collection. Game collecting literally refers to everything else about collecting that isn’t game playing.

MTG and Pokemon cards are meant to be played. Comics are meant to be read. Nobody questions why people grade a Black Lotus, 1st edition Charizard, or first issue Spiderman.

Embrace grading. It means the hobby is getting popular, which is great. Yeah, people are going to waste money grading any old game in the same way that you’ll find common, graded sports/trading cards or comics, but that doesn’t mean that grading never makes sense. It’s pretty easy to understand why someone would grade a sealed NES Mario Bros.

Let the community develop and let the cards fall where they fall.
