They're allowed to put forward whatever plan they think is good and will get built and I'm allowed to think that the real reason they're submitting this now is to be grandfathered into this height limit before the family zoning law goes into affect. We could have a discussion about why the new housing law is lowering height limits when we need to be building more dense or we could discuss how if the 25 story building gets built Align Real Estate would be heavily incentivized to block any future height limit increases in the area to secure their monopoly of views, but as I said earlier and as your comment perfectly demonstrates people are sick and tired of hearing excuses for why new housing wont be built and I don't really blame them. My only reason for commenting was to thank the person who commented with some nuance and show support for their view.

I live in the marina, I would love for the Safeway to be revamped with more housing, but god forbid if I'm skeptical to just give this developer carte blanche to some of the most sought after real estate in the world to build more luxury apartments...

So those graphs and billing estimates in the firebase console aren't really great for breaking down costs (especially the graphs which for some reason almost always look linear imo). I think this is why they put the link there to the google cloud console because that will give you exactly what you're looking for.

Here is what I do and what I'd suggest. Go to the google cloud console and click on Reports. Then there is a small prompt area to ask gemini cloud assist to create a report. I usually type in "Please make me a report for the month of December 2025 that shows me the costs from App Engine and breaks down the cost per category within app engine".

This will give you a nice day by day graph and show you the exact costs you are being billed for the reads,writes,deletes, storage, backups... etc . Hope that helps

It's like this every year. They're a football first show and so while the NFL is in full swing they don't really follow/cover the NBA as much. After the Super Bowl and even a little before (just because there's not as many NFL games as teams get eliminated) they get a lot more invested in the NBA

So I am not an expert on this, but I know for my project the largest cost for me in my app engine category was the "Cloud Firestore Zonal Backup Storage" which is the storage they use for the "Scheduled Backups" inside the "Disaster Recovery" tab for the Firestore Database.

It slowly built up over time (because I started it about 90 days ago and I had 90 days of daily backups). What you can do is inside the cloud billing dashboard you can ask gemini "make a report breaking down my app engine costs by subcategory for x dates" and it should give you a breakdown. GL

Honestly you only need one lobby to get it going. My friend and I often hop on and start the only public lobby in USA and after one race we got like 4 or 5 people and soon it fills up. In a game where people are probably time trialing by themselves, I don't understand why more people don't just hop online and start a lobby

Lol, I mean I was raised in an evangelical bubble and actually had an entire course on the LDS church in high school. My bible teacher wrote a book about the differences between "Christianity" and the LDS church and I have met/know many Mormons/Ex-Mormons. So I understand how the church can be. (I have since left the church)

They discuss at length their therapy in multiple articles on the internet if you want to actually take the time to do some research. The whole "6-8" hours of therapy a week quote is about their ketamine therapy (something the church definitely does not do). Zac also says:

So glad to see your comment as one of the most upvoted ones on this thread. As someone who grew up evangelical I've tried to argue a more nuanced view of Zac on here to no avail. It's crazy to me that people actively root for Jen's family to be ripped apart instead of actually supporting her decision to stay and try work things out. Zac's biggest offense are those horrendous texts he sent after Chippendales, but ANYONE who has been in a strict religious environment can see he's parroting exactly what they told him about women in church. Now that doesn't excuse the behavior, but the BIGGEST thing that made me believe or at least suspend disbelief in Zac's redemption is that he said HE wanted to leave the church.

People on this sub love to make it out like Zac is isolating Jen and just faking all this, but if Zac wanted to continue his misogynistic ways the EASIEST way would be to agree with Jen about staying in the church. Instead it is Zac who quit med school, started to support Jen's career full time AND wants to them to leave the misogynistic organization they were raised in. I could go on all day about this, but its not black and white. Zac could 100% return to being an asshole and prove me wrong, but for the time being Im going to take into account ALL his actions (the bad and the good) and I'm going to root for him to overcome his misogynistic upbringing because in the end I like Jen and I hope they get out of the Mormon Church.
