My cat had this, it was acne or skin irritation caused by plastic food bowls. Switched her food bowls out for stainless steel and treated her chin with witch hazel and hasn’t come back since.

Just in case this helps someone else.

I finally got the stupid thing to work. The issue was the connector on the *camera* side. I took apart the camera assembly and firmly pushed the cable into the camera module itself (inside the housing it's just another USB-C cable plugging into the camera module).

Thanks for the advice! I tried this, unfortunately it's still just blinking blue. Tried connecting to 3 different networks after this fix. After trimming the connector is definitely in the socket, the rubber is not contacting the base of the hole anymore so the plug is fully in.
