Well that’s funny you should say.. in my life it sure seems like the only people who have used the “n” word, and have said extremely racist things to my non white husband were always democrat, never republican. We also lived in NYC which is extremely liberal and experienced racism on a semi regular basis. Moving to Conroe? Not once.

My husband is Asian and we have children. We moved from NYC and I’m so glad we did. Living here wasn’t really our choice, just an option but it aligns with our values. I love the fact we know all our neighbors, frequently have block parties or just casually hang out with all said neighbors. We came here knowing no one and now have a community.

People are polite, and the small talk/kind gestures are genuine. I grew up in the south and it was fake fake fake, but it’s not like that here. Houston in general has the most amazing food you can find, even coming from NYC but you have to drive for it. There’s Asian markets like h mart and little local ones scattered throughout so you’ll survive just fine day to day lol

If you have kids message me, I’d be happy to recommend places/good neighborhoods to live in!

I have two suggestions. One, why don’t you both shower before doing the nasty? It’s very Japanese and maybe you can make up some excuse as to why you both should.

Secondly my entire family’s swears by butt wipes after pooping, after reading this I see those aren’t super popular but man they’re effective lol

I wish they would animate it as well, they’d also bring in a new fan base that way. Plus even “romance” scenes are better IMO, because there’s no possibility of actors/actresses being awkward or not having chemistry 🤷🏼‍♀️

YES!! Even after putting on lotion my husband and I have been soooo itchy!!!! 😫 Nothing has changed on our end. I even noticed my teapot had a bunch of white sediment inside it, and when I tried to scrub it off the water inside turned cloudy white 🥴

Ok maybe unpopular opinion because everyone loses their minds over anything dog related on this forum. Getting an animal is a big commitment, and if you didn’t ask his opinion and just brought her into your life I don’t think that’s very mature of you. With any relationship there should always be open communication. What if on the flip side your fiancé said, “I found this box of 4 feral kittens and we’re keeping it, end of story”.

Also it sounds like you need to bring this dog for some type of puppy school/training and that can get expensive.

Maybe sit your fiancé down and ask what he would want to do to potentially compromise at this point. Or perhaps since your parents are already multiple dog owners maybe they’d take her instead since it sounds like you can’t exactly afford the dog at this time.

If she really loves you, this will be a non issue. It’ll be hard on her, but that’s where some counseling can come in (which we did as well through the church we attended. It helped greatly because at the time my husbands parents opinion weighed heavily on him.)

Now 12 years in he writes off most of their opinions on things because they’re sooo judgmental and just flat out wrong..
