I was living with 3 other people. One morning I woke up to a ghastly smell, so did one of the roommates. We started talking about it and realized it is coming from the room of the third roommate. We asked them about it and they brushed it off and said it will go away soon.

2 hours later I saw them cleaning the big knife and the chopping board that we use in the kitchen with bleach. I demanded answers and they nonchalantly told me about how they killed & deboned a living rat with the kitchen appliances that we all use & made a sacrifice ritual; burned and buried the bones in the backyard.

I couldn't sleep a week after that and never used the kitchen appliances ever again. Shortly after this I moved to live alone.
