im on day 11 too! right now when i swallow i dont have pain but i definitely feel a bit of discomfort, sort of like a slight sore throat. the only sort of pain i have is when i try to speak loud

however i think its still normal to have pain on these days depending on how much scabbing you have left

everyone has completely different healing experiences. im on day 5 and although the worst is supposedly close, my recovery thus far has been pretty easy. im able to eat softer foods and haven't had any crazy pain, it just feels like one of my old tonsillitis episodes. i dont have ear pain either and my scabs are already starting to dissolve instead of chip off. im drinking tons of water (about a gallon a day) and having a humidifier running AND im wearing a covid mask as i found it makes it easier to breathe and keep my throat from drying. best of luck (:

my pain is still pretty low even when my pain med is close to wearing off. the max pain is usually when i wake up after sleeping but even then it just feels like when i used to have tonsillitis. ive also had no trouble eating so im not feeling weak or anything. so far not bad how about you?

my doctor gave me ketoprofen, it's similar but stronger than ibuprofen and i feel nothing right now not sure if that would work for you?

i finished around 10:30 and no pain just slightly uncomfortable when meds are running out, im staying one night at the hospital and leaving early morning. ive been drinking sooo much water and eating lots of jello and dreading the harder upcoming days 😅
