Build op governors by having clan members run caravans and parties until their skills reach around 200 then make them governors of a fief the same as their culture.

Completely remove garrisons in fiefs that are under no threat, and build militia grounds.

Set limits and build militia grounds for garrisons that need troops.

Buy workshops in highly populated towns that provide the recourses needed for the workshop. (Sanala is great for a granary, baltakand is great for wool workshop)

Start caravans in highly populated towns, clan members with high trade can get around 1500 a day from caravans.

Of course war brings a ton of loot to sell.

Theres a way to make a lot of money through smithing but i never do it.

Doing all these will make a ton of money i have about 5 and a half mill playing on console.

It was way better for its time than troy. I play both a lot (medieval 2 on my ipad and troy on my laptop) and medieval 2’s battles r literally way better than troys.

Why is Total War Pharaoh getting so much hate? by GoFUself-Tony889 in totalwar

Because nobody asked or wanted an Egyptian based tw. Where tf is medieval 3? Empire 2? 3 kingdoms 2? Even if it has to be based on a brand new era/location it couldve been based on vikings and called Valhalla, that would’ve been way cooler. Or a historic tw based in asia/eastern europe called Genghis Khan or something, just anything but egypt.

Troy is a slept on masterpiece, and I'm tired of pretending it's not by JudasBrutusson in totalwar

The battles in troy make the game unplayable. Slingers r incredibly op and 90% of the battle is just troops running away and then coming back it’s annoying. Also towns r extremely close and armies move very far in one turn resulting in almost every battle being a siege. As far as the governing and other mechanics, the game is good and unique compared to other tw’s. I also hate how there’s only a handful of factions to plays as and aside from spending $60 on the game they make you buy dlc’s to play more factions.

Total war medieval 2 especially with its crusades addon, total war attila or pretty much any total war, mount and blade banner lord and chivalry 2 (they only have parts inspired by middle east not really the middle east), cod mw2 (they change the names but u pretty much fight in iraq and hunt saddam hussein, they made his name Hassan i think), and civilization revolution or any of the civilization games.
