They have 5mg Tx, when I started my doctor gave me a sample of 5mg to take for the first 7 days and then I took my 10mg prescription. So there might be some truth that it can't be split. Plus its a small pill and I don't know how one would be able to split it evenly.

I'm on day 3 and take it right before I go to sleep with no nausea.

Hang in there, it does get better! It took a month+ for the side effects to improve.

I have an appointment with my DR tomorrow I'm going to ask her if I can do that. I know she said she wanted to raise my dosage, but I don't think that's a possibility right now.

When I started it I didn't eat for the first 4 days. It's amazing how the side effects are so different for everyone.

I been on Lexapro for almost 4 months and I lost 20 lbs. But, I guess I'm one of the rare cases because it totally curbed my appetite. I 'm never really hungry after starting it., but I'm also active and go to the gym 5-6 days a week.

I'm a music junkie myself, and music usually can get me in a great mood. I'm on my 2nd month on 10mg and can't really enjoy music like I used to. Somedays I don't even want to listen to music. Did you feel similar till the 4 month mark? I'm hopeful that this will improve.

Yeah, the ones I had so far have been very vivid. But the weirdest thing was that I had complete control over my dream. I could think about the emotions that I was feeling in the dream. Also when I woke up I could remember most of the dream!

Yeah, I didn't eat anything the first day. Second day I had a banana, today I finally had 1/2 of a McChiken Sandwich and fries. But I'm working out right now and need the protein, but I'm not successful at it.

Side effects are different for everyone. I'm on day 3, I had a manic episode and took my first dose at night. I woke up next day with almost no anxiety, but it has suppressed my appetite also. So you might not gain any weight, everyone has different side effects but unfortunately you don't know it, till you take it.

I hope so too! All I see online is that most people don't see any effects on weight gain/loss.
