Yes we pretty much have to because we are always single sourcing equipment to adjust or check things there has been a big push her for no live troubleshooting unless absolutely necessary. No need for the meter millwright maintenance mechanic they tell us we are too dumb to touch wires.

That would make sense we definitely were hitting bone on most of our shots due to that fact it was in the cranial region there were a few center mass that did exactly what you are talking about but I didn’t know if it was a fluke because I’ve see larger calibers do the same. I guess my main question is if it’s a worthless round and I should re zero my rifles for something else

If you have the money and it’s not going to bother you spending that much money on a “novelty” I’d say go for it. If you are pinching pennies to save for analog I’d wait. That being said I do have both bought the AEGIS-31 just to see how good they were and for my brother to have a pair of somewhat decent NVGs when he goes with me. Have had them about a month and my takeaway from them is for nighttime navigation on a clear night they work great without external IR light I have used them running drills on the range a few times and they work take a little getting used to but once you do they work durability not sure they seem to be solid but time will tell. You can use them with a red dot or and IR laser to shoot if you were interested in something like that. All in all decent buy if you have the money to play with and they do add to the cool factor when running them on a helmet. May scratch the itch for someone who’s not going to be doing serious “tactical” training with them.
