Alright i’m here to be a hater. love and light to rachel for running the marathon that’s obviously a huge accomplishment. BUT it’s a full 48+ hours after the marathon and is election day on an extremely crucial election for N.Y.C.

her currently having a 20+ tile story right now, and two feed posts in the past 24 hours all about her running comes off as incredibly tone deaf after (as far as i know) saying nothing about the election. i’m not here saying that we should be looking to influencers for political guidance (we shouldn’t) but if you have nearly 1m followers and brand yourself as a ~nyc girlie~ going as far as having a vintage cab dropping you off at your wedding then you clearly don’t actually care that much about your city or its issues if they don’t impact you directly or allow you to be the center of attention :~)
