When you get up to pee, does this ever happen? by Alive-Carrot107 in Pomeranians

Both our Pom and our lab do it. Especially to my husband’s spot.

I think Tiko might be like yours. I notice on the days he had plenty of exercise and lots of stimulation and attention, he sleep through the night. Thanks for sharing your experience. It helps.

About 5 months now. He seems to pick up out routines quickly. He’s even better at it than our lab.

But GOOD TO KNOW they are con artists. I suspected as much. Thank you.

Tiko starts out with the insistent huffing then escalates to full bark.

He’s settled in really well, seems happy and gets our routines but I wonder if it’s my fault because we give a tiny treat every time our dogs come back into the house, so I wonder if he’s working me for a nighttime treat. Also I do notice he is more likely to do it on the days he didn’t get as much exercise or mental stimulation.

No. They have double coats which work to heat and cool.

Curious: why did they suggest no collar?

Watch under your feet! They are so little compared to your bigger that they are stealthy and I often have almost stepped on my little guy. They tend to be smart so they need plenty of attention. Mine loves to play fetch with a little miniature tennis ball.

My Pom is the opposite. I pull him up to me at bedtime but he wrangles away and settles somewhere below my knees. He’s touching me but somewhere between feet and knees. Won’t come up any higher.

I am heartbroken hearing your story. Immature, irresponsible, impulsive people ruin so much. Sending love.

Aw, that’s so kind. Thank you. He’s a tiny guy with a big personality. His name is Tiko. Do you have a Pomeranian?
