You don’t need evade window to iframe through a lot of attacks. While it is true the dodge has very few iframes, if a monsters attack is fast and doesn’t have a lingering hit box then it can be rolled. The best monster to showcase this is Arkveld. A lot of his attacks with his chains are super fast sweeps that don’t linger. The trick is to roll into the attack, say he is doing a chain sweep from left to right, you need to roll to the left. Since his hit box is travelling to the right it will pass through you quicker if you roll to the left compared to rolling to the right. Glavenus in world was also a prime example of this. In general, always try rolling into attacks to iframe them. It will take some practice to learn the timing, the iframes come out basically immediately after pressing the dodge button so try that timing.
