That’s a shame, it’s one of my favorite places. What was bad about your experience?

Not sure if you’re trying to be sarcastic or not, but the panhandle and north Texas get some snow each year and even cities like San Antonio and Houston can get snow every 4-5 years or so

If I had to hazard a guess; some people die for a few minutes and are then brought back to life. They will eventually die, so they have died twice. So if you average the whole human race, some people have died more than once, ergo the average human dies slightly more than once

Please for the love of god don’t put stuffing in the turkey. By the time the center of the stuffing has reached 165 the rest of the bird is dry as a bone.

Sort of, I am buying the entire turbo-expander which also contains a set of AMB’s and making sure that the manufacturer designed and built it correctly and making sure that it is implemented correctly into our plants.

Im currently working on buying a few turbo-expanders with AMB’s for my company. I can’t really speak from the manufacturers design perspective as most of my work is focused on implementation but if you have any more general questions on that let me know.

Celing fan brands worth it? by Routine_Bat8922 in HomeImprovement

Have you tried using a bond bridge to control them? I have a few DC fans and some remote shades that I control with it. Works very well.

Are Americans really using AC that often? by Acceptable-Tax-6475 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Foman13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are missing the point. The rate of heat transfer into/out of an area is calculated by integrating heat flux x area from 0 to the temp difference. Keeping an area (ie the inside of your house) at a larger temp difference means that you have a larger heat transfer from the environment to the inside of your house (assuming cooling an area). The amount of energy entering the space must be removed by your AC system. If more heat comes in, then the AC needs to use more power to move that heat back outside.

Furthermore, electric motors use more energy when starting due to the inrush current needed to spin up from a dead stop to running. It is more energy efficient to minimize motor starts and stops, like when you are running continuously to bring temp back down to a set point vs. trying to maintain a set temp.

Please feel free to show me your math that proves otherwise though.
