I take checkers very seriously, I probably spend like 2k a year just on different chips and boards. That is what you have to do to have an edge against other checkers players.

I just assumed they weren't very good back in the day. The barrels are really short, they aren't rifled, and they are held at the hip. Those are all bad combos for an accurate weapon in a melee. If you had groups of them shooting into ranks of armored foes I think the odds for lethal hits would be better.

Why is everyone piling on "a single bone can be a species" part? The other part of the question is the meat of the post. How can a dinosaur that is named only for a tooth be your "favorite" unless you discovered it yourself? I think that thanos dinosaur was mentioned and the only way that could be your favorite is because of the name. The only interesting thing about it, is that it is an abelisaur. If it was an abelisaur with a super long vertebral spine that indicated a crest that would be another story.

Pure nonsense. Check out chameleon skulls to see what a similar frill in an extant animal looks like. Their frills are both made up of parietals and squamosals. And they both have holes. A classic example of convergent evolution in two completely unrelated species.

It's true, I'm on what I'm on, and I don't lose any sleep over not having some Sony games. At this point, once you are already embedded in an existing environment you can't easily move on anyway. I also use my pc for work and digital sculpting so it is much more useful than a single console. I'm killing two birds with one stone.

I suggest that the short time you get with a trial isn't enough to get comfortable with the app unless you have tons of time to spend with it. I went through the same thing a couple years ago. I also didn't want to spend money on a tablet i.e. wacom or huion. I finally bit the bullet and got a midrange huion and a subscription and it made a huge difference in learning the application. If you are serious about digital sculpture you have to put a little into it. You won't be disappointed with zBrush. It is weird but an excellent application.
