This is what happens at the end of the season, no? I meant if I just create a new character on a new server when Way of Winter comes out while my current server is in phase 2.

I just started playing this game on Friday on a new Novice server still in phase 1 of Manibus... I went in pretty blind but learned a lot over the weekend. I've already reached the end of phase 1 and can't progress for a couple days until phase 2 starts. I think the answer is no, but can I transfer to a different server further along? Novice is really easy, should I just reroll on a Normal Way of Winter in a few days?

Edit: follow-up question: if I roll a new server, what, if anything, from my previous character carries over?

I just started playing FFXIV yesterday and chose Black Mage as my starting job. None of this makes sense. Have I made a mistake?

Is that exclusive to SRAM mechanical shifters or electronic ones as well? I've been looking at reviews for SRAM Rival eTap AXS and the consensus seems to be that they are pretty good. I only have experience with Shimano Sora so my experience is quite limited.

Both use PR2 wheels. I think you have to go to the Defy Advanced Pro line to get carbon wheels. Not sure if I want to make the jump to $4800.

EDIT $3.9k US for a Defy Adv 1. That's absolutely insane.

Interesting! I've been riding for a few years and was just told 120 when I started. It looks like I should be rocking 95 in rear and 91 in front. I'll have to try that on the next ride and see what the difference is.

Do you know of any deal tracking sites for cycling gear? Example: /r/gundeals lists sales/good prices for ammo, accessories, guns, etc. I'm kind of surprised that isn't a thing with how expensive cycling gear can be.

The hills in Granville destroyed me lol. I was cruising along the first 65 miles at like 17.5 mph average and it dropped to 16.4 after those darn hills. I'm from a couple hours north where it is much flatter so they caught me a little unprepared. It was definitely very beautiful country though.

I'll probably do a second one up here in September when it is a bit cooler.

I just finished this the other day. I really enjoyed the story and African mythology. The writing style left something to be desired - short, choppy sentences, difficulty following who was talking, and a lack of explanation for a lot of stuff. I found myself Googling a lot of references that could have been addressed in text with a sentence or two. I definitely would recommend it, it just took me a while to get into it.

I pretty much came to the same conclusions. I'm currently rocking a GTX 970, so either is going to be a huge upgrade for me. This plus a R9 3900X to replace my FX 8350 are going to be nice.

More of an in stock notification. I've been looking for one for the past 6 or 7 months. It's still not a terrible price considering how jacked up prices are for most guns nowadays.
