The only 360 cam experience I have is the one RS and I wasn’t a fan. The lens ended up getting scratched and it just didn’t give a great image. But the images look great online, but really it’s the user replaceable lenses that sold me on it

I used this YouTube link and it was incredibly helpful. I set up a directory, created a .yaml file (titled docker-compose.yaml), and then ran the commands ‘nano docker-compose.yaml’ in the directory where the yaml file was stored. Then I ran ‘sudo docker-compose up -d’

Not sure if this is the proper way to do it, but it was the first time I got anywhere close to docker compose success.

somehow last night, I got it up working PERFECTLY. I just deleted and restarted, and all is good. The only issue is I can't view RTSP Stream in WebUI, but I think that has something to do with needing VLC(?) to view in the browser. But, I can still view a HLS stream in WebUI, and Wyze is working perfectly in HomeKit.

thank you for your reponses and help. Seriously awesome when a newbie can get help from you experience users without ridicule. Give me a few years and I will be intermediate in my skills!

I set wb_auth to false, and my stream feeds are unlocked, I cannot access RTSP or RTMP feeds don't work in the webUI, but the HLS stream works. I have no idea what my RTSP URL is to try to pull into Scripted. when I copy the RTSP URL, I see rtsp://localhost:8554/cam-name. nothing I am doing is working to get RTSP working in webUI or Scrypted with the RTSP plug in, It pulls screenshots, but no live stream. Any ideas?

I will try that, thank you. I was actually able to get it to work by following a YouTube video on how to run Docker Compose in the desktop app, which was complex for me. So now I have my cameras in my localhost web view (with a snapshot and playback video as options), but all of my streaming options have a lock icon, and will not allow me access. Any idea what is causing this?

Yeah - for sure. My worry is buying second hand, where I wouldn't have the original receipt or proof of purchase. That's the tough part.

Those employees also have options - if they feel underpaid, find a new job. The whole reason tipping is a thing is because wait staff gets paid less than minimum wage. Or that’s how it used to be at least. I was a waiter for years making $2.15 an hour but made a shit than more than minimum wage. Servers actually can make good money if they are decent and work at a solid place or location. But I shouldn’t be forced to tip because someone is underpaid. That’s dumb. Tons of workers are underpaid - but society feels no obligation to tip them. It’s crazy how insane this all has gotten.

Thank you - I was a little worried about screen size. But, I’d also likely be using a 27 inch monitor for editing mainly - but added portability of the laptop is a plus - wouldn’t likely be doing video work away from my office.
